Slottsskogen

There's more to a good EC than just playing those cards. The tournaments I recall best are those when I had the time to explore the city hosting the championship.
For that reason I'll add some shameless ads for Gothenburg in summer.
In a sense it is truly a green city, so what better start than photos from Slottskogen, the largest park in Gothenburg.

Should you arrive with small children then Plikta, the main playground in Slottsskogen, offers activity for the juniors.

The main restaurant in Slottsskogen. If you've spent a few hours here it's a decent place to rest your legs. A bit pricey though.

Playing with water, city style.

The lawn is used frequently by youths carrying grills and beverages.

Shot over the large lawn below the central cafeteria.

Exiting Slottskogen at the main entrance. Linnegatan with its buildings can be seen in the background.
