Short summary

As you might all have noticed there were only photos and no text uploaded here during the EC. My refusing to write on a cellphone is the reason.

We had a total turnout of some 130 players all in all. As usual the LCQ was the largest tournament of the event with 108 participants. The EC day one came in as a strong second with 95 players, and day three's standard constructed side event got the third place with 83 players.

Ten players drafted, twenty five had their Silence of Death but only three wanted to play the Warzone event. Those three poor souls were moved to the standard constructed.

One happy Hungarian walked away with a display box of Lords of the Night a month and a half before it is released. I have never seen anyone so eagerly signing a contract without even pretending to read it first. Thinking of it I have some fantastic real estate on the moon I could sell for an agreeable price.

Later today we'll run our weekly pub game with a nice addition of die hard EC visitors.

Proper reports will arrive on the news group (that will be Google Groups for those of you who only use a web browser) together with deck lists from the final tables of the larger tournaments.

I will keep this blog updated with news and memories, for the near future at least, but articles will be posted in a more orderly way from now on.
